Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has many characters; some are deadly villains, others are great warriors, and others are extremely funny. Today we will talk about one character that is a bit mysterious for anime fans due to his past, a great warrior and a remarkably funny character.
Inosuke Hashibira is one of the main characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba; he is also the traveling companion of Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, alongside Zenitsu Agatsuma. Inosuke is also part of the Demon Slayer Corps, one of the few who can handle two swords.
Inosuke appears to be a young man of average height with a highly muscular complexion, more noticeable on his arms and abdomen, especially for his age. In contrast to his athletic complexion, his pale skin and face are a bit feminine and incredibly pretty.
He has big and dark to soft pale green eyes framed with long eyelashes and thin eyebrows, and his mouth is relatively small and well-mannered. In addition, he has thick black hair that fades into blue at the tips; it reaches a little further down his shoulders and has an uneven fringe falling above his eyes.

Inosuke looks a little older than his actual age. Born on April 22nd, by the time the story takes place, he is 15 years old.
How Did Inosuke Die?
There is little information about Inosuke’s death, but it is safe to assume that he died after getting married and having kids, years after the last battle in the manga. By the end of the story, at the end of the manga, we are shown that several years have passed, and we get to see the descendants of Inosuke.
Does Inosuke Have a Love Interest?
At the end of the manga, most of us confirmed that, to the joy of AoIno shippers, Inosuke and Aoi Kanzaki ended up getting married.
When Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Nezuko, and Inosuke arrived at the Butterfly Estate because of the injuries from the battle on Mount Natagumo, Inosuke and Aoi met. After receiving treatment and healing their wounds, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke started to train with Aoi, but after some time, Inosuke and Zenitsu decided to quit.
After the Red Light District (Entertainment District Arc) battle, a crying Aoi goes to Tanjiro, awake, to tell him about Inosuke’s critical condition caused by Gyutaro’s poison. Inosuke appears on the ceiling above Tanjiro and falls on his bed, bragging about his strength. Inosuke is shocked when Kiyo informs him that he is like a Honey Badger, with hide-like armor and immunity to poison. Aoi grabs Inosuke and tells him to get off Tanjiro.
Inosuke is convinced that he is invincible, and Gotou tells him he is a complete moron. He tries to attack Gotou, but Aoi grabs his waist and calls him a “moron” and an “ass.” Then she tells him that besides resisting the poison, he can also resist all the medicine she gives him.
She comments on his poor memory, stating he forgets everything. They start to argue, Inosuke calling her “pipsqueak” and Aoi saying they are about the same height.
One remarkable moment in the later chapters is when Aoi scolds Inosuke for stealing food and gives him his food tray to make him stop stealing. Inosuke smirked with a slight blush and showed his appreciation for Aoi’s kindness.
By the end of the manga, in chapter 205, we meet Aoba Hashibira, who is Inosuke and Aoi’s descendant and takes after them. Volume 23 extras confirm that Inosuke and Aoi eventually married and had two great-grandsons; one of them is Aoba.
Eight Facts About Inosuke.
For anime watchers, Inosuke could be just another tsundere; he is arrogant, self-absorbed, tends to repel people, and acts without thinking. But after the first season finale and the movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, we learned to love this character, and he took place in our hearts. Here we tell you Eight facts that will make you love him a little more.
1. He truly lacks social skills
This one is not a secret. Since Inosuke’s first appearance, we see him as aggressive and arrogant. But this is normal behavior, having in mind he grew up surrounded by boars, so he only knows how to behave like them without any idea of how to be around humans.
2. His body is extremely flexible
Inosuke’s flexibility is a different thing. He can bend his head back far enough almost to reach the ground, which is quite impressive. In addition, he can dislocate several joints of his body as he pleases and whenever he wants. Another remarkable ability linked to his flexibility is how he can extend it to his internal organs. During a fight with Daki, Inosuke shifted his heart to a different position to avoid Daki piercing his heart.
3. His sub and dub voice actors have something in common
Yoshisugu Matsuoka is Inosuke’s sub-voice actor, and Bryce Papenbrook (who also dubbed Eren from Attack on Titan) is Inosuke’s English voice actor. They participated in Sword Art Online as Kirito’s voice.
4. The uniform-makers of the Demon Slayer Corps dislike Inosuke
One thing that we have noticed is that Inosuke is half-naked most of the time. He does not respect the uniform; he needs his baggy hakama pants and the boar headpiece. When Inosuke gets a new uniform, he always rips his shirt off, making the uniform makers furious, as they constantly make him a new one that won’t last.

5. His headpiece used to be his “mother’s” head
Many believe that the boar’s head on his face is just Inosuke’s eccentricity. But the truth is that it belonged to the boar who raised him as her after finding him abandoned in the woods.
6. He played a significant role in the battle with The Lower Moon One Enmu
Happening in the Mugen Train Arc in the manga, and during the Demon Slayer movie, Tanjiro and Inosuke got caught up in the main battle against Enmu. Inosuke discovers that fighting a Lower Moon monster is not as simple as he had imagined.
7. For him, torturous exercises mean improvement
Most Demon Slayers see the rigorous training as hell on earth; Tanjiro and Insouke, on the other hand, have an opposite attitude and view these exercises as a way to become better Demon Slayers.
8. About his birth mother
In the manga, we saw in a flashback that Inosuke’s birth mother, Kotoha Hashibira, loved him so much to the point of protecting him from Doma. When she saw herself cornered, she threw Inosuke into a river, praying for his survival.
A Final Thought About Inosuke Hashibira
Inosuke is one of the most beloved characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Initially, he was somewhat annoying due to his lack of social skills and arrogance, but after getting to know him and becoming friends with Tanjiro, he improved a lot and gained a piece of everyone’s heart.
